Foley Sound

In our film opening we decided to use foley sound, by doing there is more from real life. Foley is the reproduction of everyday sounds for use in filmmaking. These sounds can be anything from swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors. The best foley sound is the one well integrated into a film that is unnoticed by the audience. It creates a sense of reality, therefore we have decided to use it as it has effect from reality. If haven't used foley sound our film may feel unnaturally quiet. We have created our own foley sound like footsteps, door banging and camera clicking. We have worked really hard to produce these sound however there was a problem with them as there were a lot of background noises from the foley sounds we recorded. Therefore we decided to use soundtrack to find our foley sounds and add them to our opening sequence.
