Differences Between Rough-Cut & Final

There were many differences between the rough cut and the final opening of our film, one was that the rough cut had names that appeared twice which was not allowed so in our final we changed the names to make it more realistic.

When we added the rough cut we noticed that the video was  bit fast paced , so when the titles came up it was to fast for the audience to read and the film itself was fast paced. Having noticed this we slowed down the pace of the final produced opening scene.

As the rough cut is a rough copy of the final we had missing scenes to be added, so some parts of it was blank for the extra scenes to be added. Therefore we couldn't produce most of the things we wanted for example we could not add the split screen as the footage was not there.

After we filmed the missing scene we added that to the blank areas and edited the whole film. We also had not had the soundtrack so in the rough cut it was only the sound while filming but in the final we produce a soundtrack including foley sound.

we also changed the music and foley sound complete for the final because we wanted to create some more  tension for the atmosphere
