As a group we did a rough cut of our film opening, it is not completely finished as it has some gaps in between were we need to add more film footage. We filmed another scene to add to our film opening as we only filmed the flashback scene.
Our fIlm opening needs more developing and we have planned the sequence but need the film more to add to the film. We had problems while editing, as the lighting was difficult to set. We wanted to change the colour of the flashback scene so that it looks different and more like a flashback and also it would be a different lighting compared to the scene that is not the flashback this would of made the two scene separate from one another. However, as we have not finished with the whole opening and not yet have the other scene it is not a big problem. Another problem that occurred was that after we add the rough cut we learnt that the names that we put to the opening has to come up only once. As we only used our group names it appears more than once so we have to change them when finishing the final sequence.
The good thing about our rough cut is that the scene we filmed and edited fits perfectly together and I think that the opening looks very effective.
