How did you attract/adress your audience?

Our opening woud appeal to the target audience because firstly of the genre, a thriller film attracts audience because people (especially teenagers) enjoy to be frightened or if any violence in the film they also enjoy it. Our film has a good storyline to it as we have a murderer who kills and then takes photos of the victim and the surrounding just like a detective.

Mise en scene that were used like the murderers black coat was used to make the audience feel that this characters is the murderer with the black hat used as well. The actors facial expressions were also a big part of the film as she really make the character look like a psycho, we also looked at psycho and got some useful facts. The other film we looked at was memento, to built up a storyline for the audience to enjoy.

The rough cut feedback also helped us improve our weak points in order to make our film appeal to the intended audience. We improve editing, lighting, sound and did the split screens to make the opening more appealing to the audience.
