Target audiences for films usually depend upon the genre. Thriller audiences consist more of a male audience, but this differs across genre.
Romance Thrillers tend to get a more female audience. 'Forbidden Lust' focuses on love and romance which females are more interested in. They also have a male audience as males can also relate with love, but it generally interests women more.
